A Violation of the Contract: The Pleasure Beach Story
The note reads:

"Dear Mrs. (name withheld),

I would just like to wish you a happy retirement. (illegible due to picture angle) thank you very much. The lessons that taught me to read and pronounce words would have been harder if you didn't help. You were one of the most helpful and caring of all my teachers. The spelling bees and games that made work fun. If it wasn't for you I probably wouldn't read so well."
