New gallery added to Abandonedamerica.us

The newest complete gallery is up on the site, featuring some additions I hope you''ll take advantage of. The carrington elk lodge was built in 1916, abandoned in the 1980s, and torn down only a month ago. Luckily I was able to get inside just before demolition started. Without further ado, here it is!

The website has been steadily worked on in the last few months. You''ll notice more text content, particularly in the stories that accompany each gallery and the way the galleries themselves are broken up now by the dates the pictures were taken. Yhere also are more options for sharing the site via social networks - now you can tweet or share individual images and galleries on Facebook. I hope if you enjoy my work you''ll consider sharing a favorite picture or gallery with your friends! Thanks, and as always feel free to email me with suggestions or thoughts. I may take a little bit to reply to them if they aren''t urgent but I do make the effort to reply to everyone who reaches out. I hope you enjoy the new gallery and additions, and that you continue revisiting as I work to continuously improve your experience here.

Photo comment By Mike: Have loved your site for a while. Great stuff. I wanted to let you know that even though you have few comments on the site, we're out here and enjoy your work.
