As I write this seven years later, the original set of images I produced from this location is a little difficult to look at. I half-considered taking them off the site entirely, except that I have made the decision not to remove older work as this body of work has also been a chronicle of my own progression in learning photography. At this point I produced these I was very much a novice struggling to find my own style and purpose in my work.
It is strange to look back at them. Both the stockyard and this point in my life are gone now, disappeared off to wherever things go when they are no more.
