Henryton State Hospital | a lonely place

Behind Henryton's auditorium is one of the prettiest places I've come across. Circled by peeling paint, a plant climbs out of the wall, its leaves radiant in the soft glow of the sunlight. Slowly but surely nature is staking her claim on this building, and the toxic lead paint almost seems to be retreating from the new life. I hope I have a chance to watch this little plant grow. Despite the loneliness of the sanitarium life perseveres.
