Heat hood, or forger's hood left at the abandoned Fort Pitt Casting Company in McKeesport, PA. Danial Mcdade added in comments via my Facebook page, "notice to the left of the hood, the silver colored garment hanging with it. That is probably an aluminized apron or jacket that would be worn in conjunction with the hood. The silver color rejects the heat. These are also worn by people who do refractory work as well. I worked 26 years in a glass plant and had the opportunity to use this several times." Thanks for the information, Daniel!
