Ascending the ladder up the crow's nest is enough of a chore without carrying a tripod and camera also - and setting the tripod up in such a confined area was a task in and of itself. Still, I'd like to think the view justifies it - it is an experience few will ever have, and I'm glad that I have something to remember it by. This view is from approximately 2/3 of the way up.
