Pennhurst State School | in the silence of my crumbling home

the ways you waste my days away;
you talk and talk and talk and talk
and still can't find a thing to say.
this atrophy's been eating me -
nowhere to go, nothing to see.
yeah, human nature always stays the same:
in a constrant state of entropy.
there's just no fighting gravity,
no savior here to heal the blind and lame.
maybe you'll learn
that your self-serving, feigned concern
has no effect. my disease and i are one.
so leave me alone
in the silence of my crumbling home.
there's no need for words. the damage has been done.
the damage has been done.
